Telehealth Commitment
Updated: Feb 2025
Proteomics International Pty Ltd (ABN 78 096 013 455) (Proteomics International) has engaged Rosemary Health Pty Ltd, trading as RoseRx (ABN 72 632 003 377), a third-party service provider, to manage this online services platform (“Platform”). Through the Platform, you may be able to, among other things, do any of the following (“Digital Services”):
- access health-related information and services; and
- upload information and documentation to access digital health services.
Healthcare professionals
- This platform works with an online medical clinic, Medmate Australia Pty Ltd (ABN 88 628 471 509) as our service provider for doctors, to connect you with registered and qualified doctors. Our service provider has sole responsibility for their services, products, and information, and is independent of the platform, Proteomics International, and RoseRx.
- Through Medmate, we engage only with Australian-registered and accredited health professionals who adhere to industry regulations, maintain relevant professional memberships, and hold appropriate medical or indemnity insurance for telehealth services. All telehealth doctors accessed via Medmate are registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Proteomics International’s tests listed here are available only with a physician order. Proteomics International reserves the right to expand or restrict the availability of services at any time and for any reason.
- Proteomics International does not provide physician services or lab authorisation network services, including but not limited to the processes and systems for managing prior authorisations for laboratory tests. Independent professional entities (collectively, Providers) provide lab authorisation network services. These Providers are independent entities not affiliated with Proteomics International.
- Proteomics International has enabled access to the Providers’ services as a convenience. By requesting lab authorisation network services and selecting the option to get a physician order online, you agree that your relationship with the Providers is independent and is governed by the applicable Provider’s Terms of Use. Proteomics International makes no representations or warranties regarding the Providers’ Services and disclaims any liability for such services.
While offering this service, we have a strong commitment to:
Customers
- We communicate to customers that telehealth may not be suitable in all circumstances. In cases where a telehealth consultation is not suitable for you, the healthcare professional you book with will also alert you prior to or at the appointment.
- We emphasise with customers that doctor telehealth services are best suited when you cannot access your regular doctor and are not designed to replace your regular doctors.
- We have pathways to refer patients back to their regular health professionals or direct them to find a health professional as required.
In all cases, customers should make their own investigations in relation to the suitability and services provided by the relevant service provider.
Please see our platform Terms and Conditions and Telehealth service providers (Medmate) Terms and Conditions for more information.
